a library has the first two books in a trilogy but not the third, even if they’ve been in print for years. Case in point: Fay Weldon’s “Habits of the House,” “God Save the King” and “The New Countess.” (She’s the person who wrote the first episode of the original “Upstairs Downstairs.”) The Durham main library has the first two but not the third. Irksome.
